Registration for the conference includes access to meeting spaces with concurrent breakout sessions, a themed keynote presentation, one breakfast, and two socials. The summary of pricing rates are as follows:

TALS Fellows Recognition Event
TALS Fellows, their guests and guests of the new Fellows and Future Scholars are invited to attend the TALS Fellows Recognition Event on Thursday, March 6th, from 12 - 2pm at the historically significant and regionally famous, Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh (3525 Liberty Ave). Please note: The cost of the event is lower than last year’s event (and significantly lower than closer locations) because the event is 2.4 miles from conference site. As such, attendees are recommended to ride share to the event together.
This event serves both to honor the newest TALS Fellows and the Future Scholars, and host the annual business meeting for the Fellows. Due to this, you must be a dues-paying Fellow or invited guest of a Fellow, new Fellow or Future Scholar to attend. The Awards and Future Scholars Ceremony hosted by TALS will take place at the Thursday evening social and is open to everyone.
The price, $50.00, includes a buffet lunch consisting of salad, an entree (including a vegan/vegetarian option), side dishes, dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks. A cash bar will also be available at the event. Tickets should be purchased by February 1, 2025.
All Fellows, their guests, guests of new Fellows and Future Scholars should register and pay for their attendance. Other questions regarding the Fellows Luncheon should be directed to Dr. Stephanie West (westst@jmu.edu).
Cancellation Policy
We will provide full refunds (minus unrecoverable processing fees) until January 1, 2025. We will provide partial refunds until 2/15/2025, which includes a 50% of the registration cost plus processing fees.
