Partnerships.
Collaborations with sister leisure organizations have become a focus for TALS as we look at the presence of the leisure field globally. With the creation of the Global Relevancy Committee, TALS sought to formalize connections with other leisure organizations to help foster future collaborations and networking.
Specifically, the Leisure Studies Associations Collaboration Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2020 aims to facilitate opportunities for collaboration, networking and cross-disciplinary engagement between the following leisure studies organizations for mutual benefit.
The scope of the Collaboration MOU is to enhance research cultures, inform teaching and learning development and broaden potential international links to policy and industry developments.
World Leisure Organization (WLO)
Australian & New Zealand Association for Leisure Studies (ANZALS)
Canadian Association for Leisure Studies (CALS)
Academy of Leisure Sciences of Africa (ALSA)
Leisure Studies Association (LSA)
The Academy of Leisure Sciences (TALS)
